Pony 2009 Spring/Summer Collection Part 1
Well on their way to a solid return to the footwear industry, Pony has been growing season to season as the brand under a young and enthusiastic team look to re-invent themselves all while paying homage to their roots. USLU x Nike 1World Air Force 1
In April 2009, Nike Sportswear will release the Air Force 1, created for 1WORLD in partnership with Berlin artist Feride Uslu. “When Nike approached me about partnering with 1World, I was very happy because I love the iconic AF1 and had never worked on a sneaker before. It quickly came to my mind that I also neither had an airplane nor an airport (yet). So I took the opportunity and threw the three together: creating a design that sports many features normally expected in jets and take-off strips!”
Feride is the creative head of Uslu Airlines, a cosmetics brand inspired by the world of air transportation, airports and journeys around the globe. Favored by the worlds leading make-up artists, Uslu Airlines today boasts prestigious collaborations with designers, stylists and other creatives from all over the world and is appreciated not only for its state of-the-art colors, but also for the air(o)pack, a portable make up airbrush system.
The Air Force 1 x Feride Uslu created in partnership for 1WORLD will release at Wood Wood, Berlin and selected other European retailers on April 11th 2009.

CONCORD C1 QUANTUM GRAVITY
Via: Acquire
Click HERE for more pics and info...
Designed and developed by the C Lab Series, the C1 QuantumGravity symbolizes unrestricted and unconstrained time, where only impulse and intuition prevail.
Power reserve = verticality + fluidity
A cylindrical piston. A vertical back-and-forth movement. Liquid. These were the three essential elements combined by the C Lab Series to create this astounding equation involving mechanics and chemistry.
Traditional design and display codes have been demolished to make way for a mobile glass column, located between 12 and 1 o'clock, which serves as the power reserve with a vertical indicator. On the chemistry side of things, a liquid featuring green phosphorescent nanoparticles fills a tube to assist in the reading. Meanwhile, on the mechanical side, this energy gauge operates perpendicularly to the caliber, rising up and down from its base to signal the remaining energy of the movement in relation to its available three-day power reserve. Its graduated outline corresponds to level indicators, which are secured to the inner surface of the watch.
Really really fresh!!!!
DESIGNWORK'S NEW GAMING COMPUTER
BMW Group Designworks USA has branched out into gaming computers, and their new "Level 10" PC tower concept for Thermaltake is a doozy. And like most Designworks project, beyond the eye-candy factor is a combination of philosophizing and functional-izing:
The inspiration for this approach the design team took right from the computer worlds themselves - expressiveness, virtual townscapes and futuristic game components served as orientation for the arrangement and the look of individual components.
Each high-quality component featured by the "Level 10" concept is enclosed within its own protective case, rendering it not only an integral part of the design but also guaranteeing interchangeability and transportability.
The concept also has an aesthetical answer to the physical necessity for best possible cooling, this also being associated with the virtual world of the gamer. The asymmetric arrangement of the robust vertical heatsink and the horizontally located individual components creates a strong architectural statement, clearly revealing the powerful cooling characteristics of the Thermaltake Gaming Tower.
